What is SCORM?
SCORM is a widely used eLearning file format that allows a course to be uploaded and delivered on SCORM-compatible learning platforms.
In simple terms, it’s a packaged course file that helps your learning content run consistently across systems, and enables reporting such as course progress and completion.
If we create your course as a SCORM file, you keep full ownership of the finished files. That means you’re not tied to hosting with us and can choose where your course is delivered, now and in future.
Do I own my SCORM files?
Yes. If we create your course as a SCORM file, you own the finished files.
Can learners download my course?
If your course is delivered as a SCORM file, learners cannot download the SCORM package itself.
As with any online learning, learners may still be able to copy text or take screenshots, so we often recommend a blended learning approach where appropriate.
Do you check or validate the accuracy of my content?
You’re responsible for the accuracy of your course content. We don’t validate subject matter, but we will help you structure it clearly for learning.
Do you charge for amendments to SCORM modules?
Yes. Once your SCORM module has been signed off and delivered, any future updates are charged at £50 per update occasion (regardless of how many changes are included). If you’re hosting with us, we’ll also upload the updated SCORM file for you once the amendments are complete.
